Kelli (Doolen) Farmer has been performing since the age of 6, and plays several different musical instruments. She was the fiddle player for the Dixie Stampede Theatre in Branson, Missouri, and has performed with country music artists such as Crystal Gayle, John Anderson, Freddie Hart, and David Frizzell. She currently plays fiddle part-time for Johnny Lee, whose hits from the Urban Cowboy era include "Lookin' for Love (In All the Wrong Places)," "Cherokee Fiddle," and many others. Originally from Atoka, Oklahoma, Kelli moved to Tahlequah in 2000 to direct and perform in NSU's Downtown Country. In her time there, she has directed many young talents, including the 2005 American Idol: Carrie Underwood.
